Uses :

BITUCOAT used as a protective coating on Iron, steel, masonry and wooden surfaces. Being Nontoxic and waterproof it is suitable for coating inner surfaces of concrete & Steel Water tanks. BITUCOAT can be applied on rear side of wooden door & window frames to make the frames water insensitive & protect it from water used during construction work. it can also be applied on the wooden, steel, Ply board form work to make them waterproof and last longer. BITUCOAT can be used for external lining & treatment of below ground structures to provide protection against sub ground water and aggressive environment.

Application Instructions :

Bitucoat is to stirred well before use to ensure thorough dispersion. Prepare the surface thoroughly by cleaning, washing and removing dust, dirt, oil, grease and loose particles. for the older surface having grease, oil, deposits and loose coatings, use of K2 Multiclean is recommended for cleaning. Any visible cracks require repairing. Repair the cracks up to 5 mm with K2 Krack Seal and above 5 mm cracks with K2 bond SBR and modified mortar. loose dust should be brushed off and surface should dry before application, provided the old surface is not in a flaky condition. one primer coat and two top coats of Bitucoat are required. Maintain 6-8 Hrs gaps between subsequent coats and allow first coat to hard before applying next coat.

Coverage :

The approximate coverage is 10 sq mt when applied over metal and 8 sq. meter when applied over brick masonry and concrete. Coverage varies depending on the surface and application thickness.

Packaging :

Available in 1 liter, 4 liter & 20 liters packs.

Shelf Life and Storage :

Shelf life is two year from the date of manufacturing. Store the material in cool and dry place. Keep away from direct sunlight and heat.

Health & Safety:

Bitucoat is not hazardous. It should not swallowed or allowed to come into contact with the skin and eyes. protective gloves, Nose mask and goggles should worn. contact with skin for long tenure should avoided. in case of contact with the eyes, it should be rinsed immediately with plenty of water and medical advice sought immediately.
